European Conference on Data Analysis 2017 (ECDA 2017) on September the 27th in Wroclaw

The 41st anniversary of GfKl will be held in Wrocław, Poland, on 27-29 September 2017, as the 4th European Conference on Data Analysis 2017 (ECDA 2017).
Wrocław (until 1945 Breslau) is one of the oldest cities in Poland. With its varied history, numerous historical buildings, parks and squares, the city attracts many visitors from all over the world, as well as a lively student city on the water with charming cafes, picturesque alleys and one of the most beautiful and largest medieval marketplaces in Poland. “The Flower of Europe” was called in the course of its more than 1,000 years of history. In 2016 Wrocław was the “European Capital of Culture” and was therefore a popular travel destination. Today more than 630,000 people live in the fourth largest city in Poland, which has been prospering economically and culturally for years.
The conference will be held at the Wrocław University of Economics, one of the most highly developed economic universities in Poland and a major research center.

The conference is organized by:

  • SKAD (Section on Classification and Data Analysis of Polish Statistical Association),
  • EuADS (European Association for Data Science),
  • GfKl (Gesellschaft für Klassifikation – Data Science Society),
  • CLADAG (Classification and Data Analysis Group of the Italian Statistical Society),
  • BCS (British Classification Society).

The registration and submission of abstracts is possible from 1.3.-10.6.2017 via the conference website http://ecda2017.ue.wroc.pl/. Further information can be found on the conferences Call for Papers.The acceptance of the abstracts will be communicated until 10.7.2017. Registration to the conference is also possible via the website (Early Registration until 31.7.2017, Registration until 10.9.2017). The submission of a full paper is possible until 20.11.2017.
