47th Workshop Statistical Computing 2015 – Announcement and Call for Contributions

We invite you to participate in the forthcoming workshop “Statistical Computing 2015”, which will take place at Reisensburg Castle (Germany) from July 19 to 22, 2015.

Keynote lectures will be given by

– Andreas Ziegler, Luebeck: “Random forests: Current concepts and implementations”
– Joaquin Vanschoren, Eindhoven: “OpenML: Networked science in machine learning”
– Holger Fröhlich, Bonn: “Probabilistic Modeling of biological high throughput data”

Hands-on tutorials include

– “Implementation of random forests in the R package Ranger” by Marvin Wright (Luebeck)
– “OpenML with R and mlr” by Bernd Bischl (Dortmund)

We appreciate contributions in form of poster presentations and contributed talks. If you plan to present a talk or poster please send your proposition to Hans Kestler (hkestler@fli-leibniz.de) no later than

The total length of the text (title + abstract) should be no longer than two A4 pages. We also appreciate software presentations and contributions in the form of hands-on tutorials.
