Dear Researchers,
We are pleased to announce that the annual conference ECDA (ECDA: European Conference on Data Analysis) is organized this year by the University of Gdansk and will be held in Sopot (Poland) on September 9-11, 2024.
The main objective of the conference is bringing together experts, practitioners, and enthusiasts from various sectors of data science to explore the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in the field. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

Big Data; Clustering, Classification, Discrimination and Regression; Data Science; Databases and Data Management; Data Mining, Text and Web Mining; Data Visualization; Dimension Reduction; Image Analysis and Computer Vision; Impact of Technical Revolution and Library Science; Knowledge Representation and Discovery; Machine Learning; Mathematical Foundations of Data Science; Multivariate Methods; Online Algorithms and Algorithms for Data Streams; Social Network Analysis; Statistical and Econometric Methods; Symbolic Data Analysis.
- Applications:
Archeology; Biostatistics; Business and Management; Economics; Education; Engineering; Finance; Geosciences; Industrial Automation; Linguistics; Marketing; Medicine and Health Care; Musicology; Psychology; Risk Management; Social Sciences.
We are promoted by the Gesellschaft für Klassifikation (GfKl) – Data Science Society, the European Association for Data Science (EuADS), and Sekcja Klasyfikacji I Analizy Danych Polskiego Towarzystwa Statystycznego (SKAD-PTS).
Important deadlines are:
- May 30, 2024 – Abstract submission
- June 10, 2024 – Notification of acceptance
- June 20, 2024 – Early bird registration
- August 15, 2024 – Standard registration
Presenting authors should register by June 28, 2024 to confirm participation in the conference. Only registered participants will be considered for the scientific program.
