The 2017 edition of the Autumn Conference of the GfKl-Working Group Data Analysis and Numerical Classification (AG Dank Herbsttagung) takes place on November 17 and November 18, 2017 at Jacobs University Bremen.
Focus themes:
Data Science
Semi-supervised Clustering
Invited Talks:
Claudio Conversano/Luca Frigau, Università degli Studi di Cagliari: TBA
Johann Kraus, Universität Ulm: Semi-supervised hierarchical clustering
Registration:
Please register by wiring the registration fee of 25 € to

by November 15, 2017.
Registration fee comprises access to the conference, coffee breaks, joint dinner and the opportunity to have lunch on Friday, from 13:00-14:00 at one of Jacobs University’s serveries.
Cluster competition:
Again this year, there will be a data analysis competition. This year the goal is to present a clustering of the OkCupid Profile Data. Please send your results – an ascii-file containing the clustering for all cases and a short description of your approach, including the list of variables you have used for clustering, the clustering procedure, and the score you obtained for your final clustering in your preferred quality measure – by November 15, 2017 to a.wilhelm@jacobs-university.de.
You can download the csv-file with the data set here.
